“Later that afternoon we jetted across town to the Plaza Hotel for the Stephen F Menswear presentation held at the historic Oak Room (a favorite of Marilyn Monroe). Inspired by the strength of his grandmother, the Swedish-born designer showed a number of dapper looks (like velvet tuxedos and luxe leather bomber jackets) but with a laid back attitude. Models walked around and mingled with guest (and drank champagne!). It felt more like a party than a fashion presentation which everyone loved.”
