Creative Director Stephen Ferber interviewed by Swedish Dagens Industri / Bucketlist Magazine, talking about his new collection named A.Y.C (Am Yisrael Chai ) and the plans for 2024. 

A REFLECTION OF THE PRESENT

At the beginning of 2024, Stephen F will release a capsule collection. The collection is a hybrid of winter and spring. The collection is called, A.Y.C – Collection. A.Y.C stands for “Am Yisrael Chai”. The collection has a clear message where determination, unity, security, harmony and love are the most important components.

As creative director of the brand, Stephen Ferber has always worked based on the mantra “sharp, humble, relaxed” in his projects. This time the source of inspiration for the collection is deeper and more important than ever.

As always, the collection consists of the brand’s signature garments, the bomber jacket, the tuxedo blazer, the unique pants with “invisible belt loop”, but also includes coats, blazers, knitwear, shirts and the occasional surprise. The color choice for this collection is mostly shades of blue and white. White as a color stands for longing for peace and calm, but black as a color also exists and symbolizes the dark reality we live in.

With a new year around the corner and with a strong connection to New York, collaborations with various Broadway actors are planned. Most likely, Stephen F’s most faithful brand ambassador “The King of NYC”, Henrik Lundqvist, will appear in the brand. As he has done since 2011. The brand will also continue to work with Alex Lundqvist. A few years ago, Alex was mentioned as one of greatest models ever by Vogue Magazine.
